So, I went drifting in Tampa...

I stayed at Jake The Snake's house in Tampa and I had to go drifting with him. It was new and exciting and all, but the ride out there sucked. So horrible.


This is how I got to chill for the 30 minute car ride.


Jake loves this car. For real.

The dust was insane.


Okay, we got gas and we're ready for a 30 minute (it was 40 or so with a detour) ride from southwest Tampa to Northeast Tampa. It was 50 degrees out and it would rain lightly sometimes. Jake, you're my boy, but never again.

Tampa Am 08 was off the chain.


Immediately ran into Lenoce. He took me down memory lane at the All In The Family art show with photos from the first 10 or so years of the park being around.


This was a big big deal.

Last weekend was Surf Expo, this weenend was Tampa Am. Last week I got to see Jeff Pang, this week I got to see Justin Regan. He's one of my favorite people and has held me down in a lot of ways for some time. This is him with one of his flow kids.

Clements led the race. The moat race is the most disgusting thing ever, but you can't not watch...

This kid had scratches on his back after the moat race. I told him he needed to go to a clinic immediately.


This kid swallowed moat water and started throwing up.


Funny thing is, the previous days rain made the water not as disgusting as previous years. 20 feet past where the race ened the water looked nice.


Apparently Scotty got tuckered out with all the excitement.

Antwuan Dixon coverage: He got a middle finger tattooed on his adams apple. He missed his run to get that tattoo and came out onto the course right after best trick to show it off.

This is one of the things I miss the most about living on the West Coast of Florida. The beautiful sunsets.
